Call for Papers: EXPLORA Workshop 2027 in Prague
ÚTIA will host the EXPLORA Workshop “Foraging for Information: Dynamics of Exploratory Movements and Perception”, taking place in Prague on 12–14 April 2027.
The workshop is organized within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network EXPLORA, which brings together an international and interdisciplinary network of research partners studying how humans and intelligent systems actively explore materials, objects and environments.
We invite contributions addressing a broad range of topics including material perception and appearance, computational modelling, multimodal and active sensing, computer vision, haptics, psychophysics, human–machine interaction and robotics. Contributions from PhD students and early-stage researchers are particularly encouraged.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to present ongoing research, exchange ideas across disciplines and connect with researchers from the EXPLORA network and the wider scientific community.
The workshop is locally organized at ÚTIA by Jiří Filip and Michal Haindl from the Pattern Recognition Department.
