Banks should move away from voice verification of their customers' identities

Artificial intelligence can nowadays imitate human speech so that we can hardly tell the difference, says Associate Professor Barbara Zitová from the Institute of Information Theory and Automation of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The software only needs a few minutes of recorded of real human speech. According to the scientist, banks should step back from voice verification of their clients' identities. Barbara Zitová talked about more than just this aspect in the next part of the interview series Without Serviettes.
