Jaromír Baxa’s research interests have always been related to the current challenges of economic policy, from analyzing the effects of policy interventions to scrutinizing the robustness of research findings underpinning major policy decisions. His work has been published in journals including Journal of Financial Stability, Journal of Applied Econometrics, Economic Modelling, and others.

His current research projects focus on the measurement and macroeconomic effects of uncertainty, as well as on inflation expectations and inflation dynamics. In addition to his research, he leads courses in Advanced Macroeconomics, History and Methodology of Economics, Tools for Modern Macroeconometrics, and Current Debates at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University.
