Vojtěch Havlíček graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague. In 2003, he was awarded the academic titles RNDr. and Ph.D. by the same faculty, in collaboration with the Institute of Information Theory and Automation of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. His research focuses on modeling color textures using autoregressive and Gauss-Markov models, mixture models, and the automated generation of virtual models. He has participated in several Czech and European research projects. In 2011, he received the Award of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic as a member of Professor Michal Haindl’s research team.
