Biography
Publication list
Dr. Anna LYNNYK received her Mgr. (MSc.) degree with honors in Biophysics from Donetsk National University, Ukraine, in 2002, and her PhD degree in Physics in 2015 from the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering.
In 2007, Dr. Anna Lynnyk started her research career at the Czech Academy of Sciences. Since June 2021, she has been a researcher at the Department of Control Theory at the Institute of Information Theory and Automation (UTIA).
Her research has been supported by several grants, including 2 2-year postdoctoral fellowship funding from the Czech Academy of Sciences in 2017. She was also the principal investigator of two internal grant projects at the Czech Technical University during her PhD study.
Dr. Anna Lynnyk participated in the popularisation of science, giving the invited public lectures. She also contributed to the evaluation and promotion of young scientific talent, serving in the “Open Science” student competition, provided by the Czech Academy of Sciences in 2023 and 2024. Her expertise spans mathematical modeling of biophysical systems, bringing an interdisciplinary background in the physical and life sciences.
With a publication record of 24 ISI-indexed papers (273+ citations, H-index 9) and active involvement in the scientific community as a reviewer for international journals, Dr. Anna Lynnyk offers a unique blend of analytical rigor and biological insight relevant to control theory applications.
