Biography
Tomáš Šestořád focuses on economic policy analysis and the development of a forecasting model for the Czech economy under extraordinary economic conditions. His research has covered topics such as the estimation of the fiscal multiplier and the use of the exchange rate as a monetary policy tool. He regularly publishes in CNB working papers and peer-reviewed journals. He is a long-standing member of the forecasting team at the Czech National Bank, where he is responsible for preparing macroeconomic forecasts.
