Biography


Nino Buliskeria is an Assistant Professor at Nazarbayev University, School of Social Sciences and Humanities in Astana, Kazakhstan. She is also affiliated with the Institute of Information Theory and Automation at the Czech Academy of Sciences and with the Institute of Economic Studies at Charles University in Prague. 

She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Charles University, where her dissertation focused on research reproducibility in economics. She has held visiting research positions at institutions including the University of California, Irvine; Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile; Heidelberg University; and the National University of Singapore. 

Her research interests include macroeconomics, applied econometrics, and publication bias. Her work has appeared in the Journal of Applied Econometrics, and she is a collaborator on multiple research projects funded by the Czech Science Foundation and other agencies. 

She teaches courses in macroeconomics and econometrics at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
