Publication list
Pavel Žid earned his master's degree in 1995 from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague. In 2004, he was awarded the academic titles RNDr. and Ph.D. by the same faculty, in cooperation with the Institute of Information Theory and Automation of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
His research focuses on image segmentation and classification, as well as time series modeling and analysis. In these fields he has published articles on range image and video segmentation, dermatoscopic image classification, and the analysis, modeling, and evaluation of government measures during the COVID pandemy.
He has been involved in several Czech and European research projects.
