Vzdělání
Volodymyr Lynnyk se narodil v roce 1981. Vystudoval Fakultu fyzikálně-technickou Sumské státní univerzity na Ukrajině, obor elektronika (2004). V roce 2010 získal vědecký titul Ph.D. v oboru řídicí technika a robotika na Fakultě elektrotechnické ČVUT v Praze.
Pracovní pozice
Volodymyr Lynnyk od roku 2004 působí jako vědecký pracovník v Ústavu teorie informace a automatizace Akademie věd ČR, v oddělení teorie řízení.
Vědecká ocenění
Volodymyr Lynnyk za svou odbornou činnost obdržel řadu ocenění, mimo jiné Cenu ÚTIA za nejlepší článek v časopise Kybernetika (2011), cenu za nejlepší článek na konferenci Nostradamus 2013 v Ostravě, Certifikát za recenzní činnost v časopise Journal of the Franklin Institute (2016), Certifikát za mimořádný přínos v recenzní činnosti ve stejném časopise (2017), Certifikát uznání jako nejlepší recenzent za rok 2024 v časopise The International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos (2025) a Certifikát za mimořádný přínos v recenzní činnosti v časopise Kybernetika, udělený Ústavem teorie informace a automatizace AV ČR (2025).
Výzkumné projekty
Volodymyr Lynnyk se podílel na řadě vědecko-výzkumných projektů Grantové agentury České republiky. V roce 2007 byl hlavním řešitelem interního grantu ČVUT „Robustní strukturální synchronizace v dynamických komplexních sítích“. V letech 2013–2016 byl členem řešitelského týmu projektu „Analýza a řízení globálně dekomponovaných silně nelineárních stavových modelů s komplexní interakcí jejich komponent“. V letech 2017–2019 se jako člen týmu podílel na projektu „Řízení chodících robotů pomocí kolokovaných virtuálních holonomních vazeb“. V období 2019–2022 působil Volodymyr Lynnyk jako hlavní řešitel projektu „Synchronizace a decentralizované řízení složitých sítí“ a současně byl členem týmu projektu „Řízení nelineárních rozsáhlých a multiagentních systémů“.
Výuka a vedení studentů
Volodymyr Lynnyk dlouhodobě věnuje pedagogické činnosti. V letech 2005–2007 a znovu od roku 2018 působí jako vyučující magisterského kurzu „Nelineární systémy“ na katedře řídicí techniky Fakulty elektrotechnické ČVUT v Praze. V roce 2022 vedl bakalářskou práci na téma „Výpočet Lyapunovových exponentů z časových řad“, která byla úspěšně obhájena na Fakultě elektrotechnické ČVUT v Praze. V roce 2023 úspěšně vedl další bakalářskou práci na téma „Generátory pseudonáhodných čísel založené na chaosu“.
Editorská a recenzní činnost
Volodymyr Lynnyk se aktivně věnuje také editorské a recenzní činnosti. V roce 2023 působil jako hostující spolueditor časopisu Kybernetika. Jeho odborné zaměření zahrnuje nelineární řízení, řízení chaotických systémů, složité sítě a multiagentní systémy. Pravidelně recenzuje články pro řadu prestižních vědeckých časopisů, mimo jiné Kybernetika, Journal of the Franklin Institute, International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, a rovněž pro mezinárodní konference pořádané organizacemi IFAC a IEEE. Celkem má potvrzeno 139 odborných recenzí (ResearcherID: D-2836-2013).
